A consortium led by GFA Consulting Group prepared a comprehensive national cross-sectoral climate change strategy and action plan for Serbia. The project included the identification and assessment of the cost-effective GHG mitigation potential for Serbia, support to implementation of the (i)NDC, quantitative modelling assessment of mitigation scenarios (for 2030 and 2050) and addressing the costs of climate change adaptation.
Monique Voogt of SQ Consult was contracted in the first phase of the project as senior non-key expert to support the assessment of the existing policy framework and provide recommendations in line with achieving the targets and agreements included in the EU climate and energy acquis.
