SQ Consult's Sergio Ugarte, subcontracted by the company SOFRECO, contributed to the preparation and facilitated the Third and Fourth high level mission of Vietnam government officers to EU institutions. The aim of this high level government mission was to strengthen cooperation in policy, science and technology for climate change, sustainable energy and sustainable consumption and production.
Tasks included the facilitation of workshops and working meetings with EU institutions. Institutions visited included the Centre for European Policy Studies, European Space Agency, Airbus Defense and Space, French National Centre of Space Studies, the Belgian Science Policy Office, European Commission (DG CLIMA, DG ENER, DG Research, DG Connect, DG GROW, DG Trade), European Parliament, Council of the European Union (Secretariat) and European External Action Service (EEAS) and EU private companies working on the field of renewable energies, low carbon energy sources and smart grids.
