SQ Consult, in partnership with Ipsos MORI, conducted the Midterm evaluation of the Global Climate Partneship Fund (GCPF).
The evaluation of this 335 MUSD programme was a formative evaluation that looked at the additional effectiveness and relevance of GCPF’s activities on renewable energy and low carbon development, identifying efficiencies (and inefficiencies) in application, delivery and monitoring processes of the programme, and provides learnings for future UK BEIS and German BMUB investments of similar design.
The evaluation established the likelihood of a cause-and-effect relationship of the committed investments and assess GCPF’s likely contribution to transformational change.
